So, I would like to introduce Sportif, a classic and popular pair of boots, but all sizes are currently sold out.

In addition to the standard colors, Sportif also offers a variety of cool limited edition colors.

The 2 Monkeys Sportif03933Rio Negro [TMXNUMX]

 

 

This is Rio Negro.

The vamp and counter pocket are embossed with kip glass leather, while the waist leather is dyed snuffed grain leather (leather with the grain surface lightly rubbed) with oil and wax, and the sole, eyelets, and shoelaces are all black.

 

These boots are all black but have an exotic feel.

 

The Rio Negro is a river that flows from Colombia along the border with Venezuela and joins the Amazon River in Brazil, and most of its basin is the Amazon rainforest.

The river's water is black due to the influence of organic matter derived from plant tannins dissolved in the water, hence its name Rio Negro, which means "black river" in Spanish and Portuguese.

It was named "Rio Negro" after the black waters of the Rio Negro and the various reptiles that live in the rainforests on both sides of it.

Unlike the original color, this pair is all black, but it is made using two different types of leather, which gives it a three-dimensional look and makes it cool.

This is currently available in sizes US 7,7.5,8,8.5,10, XNUMX, XNUMX, XNUMX, and XNUMX.

The 2 Monkeys Sportif82948Chamonix [TMXNUMX]

 

 

The "Chamonix" color is a vivid two-tone black and white color.

The black leather is Annonay calfskin, and the white embossed leather is domestic steerhide.

The black and white, so-called combination shoes, are said to have originated in England in the 1860s as cricket shoes.

As for short boots, they were widely used in the 1920s and 30s as a style favored by fashionable men, and became a shoe style that symbolized the era.

It's a color that's not often seen on boots, but it looks great on the toes of moccasins.

The leather is a little firmer than the standard Sportif (Black Calf), but it is much softer than the thick leather of work boots, wrapping around your feet and providing a comfortable fit.

The coloring may look flashy for boots, but it's a surprisingly versatile color that can be worn like a sneaker.

The last one I'd like to introduce is this one.

 

The 2 Monkeys Sportif Bordeaux Vachetta [TM81935]

 

 

It's the color Bardeaux.

The wine red leather is reminiscent of aged Bordeaux wine.

We selected Vachetta leather from Conceria 800, a tannery in Tuscany, Italy, and embossed it with a diamond-shaped grain reminiscent of Russian calfskin, but much finer.

 

 

Vachetta leather is a type of leather made using traditional methods handed down in Tuscany, and its origins can be traced back to around 800 AD.

The number 800 in the tanner's name also comes from this history.

This leather is tanned with vegetable tannins and then has animal oils such as fish oil and neatsfoot oil permeated all the way to the core of the leather, making it supple and durable.

Vachetta leather, made from adult cowhide, has a much thicker sclera (the dense fiber layer on the surface of the leather) than the classic sportif black French calf leather, and is a leather with stronger tension.

 

 

This is available in size US6.5.
