Continuing from yesterday~
Yesterday, I introduced a jacket, but this time I will introduce pants.
The original inspiration comes from Eddie Bauer's down pants, and I'll also share some Eddie Bauer history that I didn't mention yesterday.
Eddie Bauer is a long-established outdoor brand that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2020.
Eddie Bauer = down jacket... When it comes to down jackets, many people think of the Skyliner.
The Skyliner appeared in 1936, which means it has been around for 86 years now... That's incredible!
At a time when wool was the mainstream, Eddie Bauer focused on the high heat retention of feathers.
The diamond-shaped quilting to contain the down was also devised so that it could be worn evenly over the body. Eddie Bauer, the inspiration for this product, is a brand that is still loved by mountaineers today.

These pants are higher spec than vintage items from that era.
The outer shell uses 100% Taslan nylon.
And for the insulation, we use PrimaLoft Gold.

While Eddie Bauer's were down pants, JELADO uses PrimaLoft Gold.
The reason for this is that if down gets wet, the feathers clump together, which reduces the performance of the down.
However, PrimaLoft Gold can maintain 98% of its thermal insulation even when wet.
That's why many modern mountaineering apparel items now use PrimaLoft.
The hems are ribbed for a stylish look.
They have been resized from the originals for increased mobility.
These high-spec pants are highly recommended, just like yesterday's jacket.
