First, here's the classic style.

It has to be a 'denim jacket', right??

So, I tried pairing it with the LAST RESORT "black tag" 407EXX,

After the end of World War II in 1945,

LEVI'S factories had a large surplus of dark denim fabric that had been used to make wartime models.

After using up this leftover fabric, a new denim fabric was introduced...

 

As for the "black tag," as we've mentioned in our blog,

it focuses on the so-called "transitional period" from 1945 to 1947, after the war ended.

 

※From here on is knowledge worth knowing.

 

In the case of 506XX, the cinch back changed from a buckle-back to a slide buckle, but the 1947 buckle-back...

JELADO interprets this as "early 47."

 

And the slide buckle is interpreted as "late 47 to 52."

 

In fact... there is a model called the "46 model."

 

If I were to go into detail here, it would make for a very long blog, so I'll omit it.

In short, it's safe to say that the revised version of the 46 model is the "early 47" model.

 

What was revised?

It was the size of the cinch back buckle.

 

In fact, the file buckle used in the 46 model is "small", and the strap does not fit into the buckle, which is a characteristic of the 46 model.

 

In addition, the rivet markings are also a key point for identification, but after the war, parts such as rivets were also used, just like surplus fabric.

So, the easiest and most accurate way to identify them is by the buckle.

 

※You can determine this by whether the rivet has a "Co" engraving or a "CO" engraving.

(Co → pre-war, CO → post-war)

Keep it in the back of your mind...

 

Getting back to the topic,

 

It's a classic style, so it's probably a popular style not only at JELADO WEST but also in Ebisu, right?

JELADO's coach jackets are usually made of nylon,

but JELADO uses 64 cloth.

 

※What is 64 cloth??

60% cotton, 40% nylon

A fabric made from soft cotton and water-resistant nylon, also used in 1970s vintage mountain parkas.

 

Because it uses 60% cotton, it will age nicely, so you can enjoy that aspect as well. It's a jacket that feels like a shirt.

 

And finally, I'd like to introduce this.

In workwear, this would be called a shop coat.

 

It's made of 100% cotton twisted yarn stripe fabric.

The waist belt and bottom snap buttons are reproduced exactly as they were in vintage pieces.

 

This coat gives off a mature vibe when simply draped, and you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.
