The Rebel Jacket is

a rider's jacket that has been a long-standing staple at JELADO.

To make it a simple rider's jacket,

we eliminated the epaulets.

Furthermore, by using cupro instead of quilting,

it's easier to put on and take off,

making it a comfortable piece to wear.

Made of 1.6mm thick leather with a semi-aniline finish,

it has a softness not found in 100% pigmented leather, and since it is "tea-core leather,"

you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.

There is one more item available for pre-order.

This is also a very popular item,

which sold out very quickly when it was previously released,

with sizes disappearing in no time.

These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric adopted in 1947.

* What is herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring (fish)" and "bone"

The pattern is named because it resembles the bones seen when a herring fish is cut open.

Baker pants were worn in battle,

but also during indoor work.

It is also said that the name "Baker Pants" comes from the fact that bakers wore them.

Since it is herringbone twill fabric,

it is thick and durable.

Also, because it is 100% cotton, you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.

And this item, which has been available for pre-order for some time,

was a popular item at the 2025SS preview.

【Pre-order item, expected arrival early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

Speaking of USMC M44 Monkey Pants,

these pants were issued to the Marine Corps,

and are popular in the vintage industry by their nickname "Monkey Pants."

The origin of the name is as follows...

Large horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted for storing "ponchos,"

and the reason for the flaps was to prevent the contents from falling out.

These pockets resemble the buttocks of a monkey, which is why they are called "Monkey Pants."

The production period of the M44 was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Also, because they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the total production volume was small, so they command very high prices in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them include:

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 – March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 – September 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II, during the

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 – July 27, 1953)

they seem to have been widely worn.

Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone as the material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dye.

The buttons are donut buttons, which also adds to the vintage feel.

By wearing them regularly, you can enjoy the aging process.
