~LAST RESORT White Tag~
Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.
Today, I'd like to introduce this product.
JELADO Universal Slim 312ZXX Denim Pants【JP94312】
The Universal Slim 312ZXX
is the most beautifully silhouetted pair of pants
in the LAST RESORT white tag series.
There are three types of denim with white tags:
・Standard 301XX
・Wide silhouette 313XX
・Slim type 312ZXX
The white tag denim, which focuses on 1950s XX fabric,
is a natural denim with a strong blue tint,
and has an ounce count of 14.
And only this model has a zipper fly.
As I wrote above, the 312ZXX
is a slim type, so it's not as wide as the other two,
but it's highly recommended for customers who prioritize silhouette,
and it's a perfect pair of pants for those who prefer jacket styles and shirt styles.
Please come to the store to try them on and purchase them.
~USMC M44 Monkey Pants~
【Pre-order item, arriving early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
Speaking of USMC M44 Monkey Pants,
these pants were issued to the Marine Corps,
and are popular items in the vintage industry
under the nickname "Monkey Pants."
The origin of their name is as follows...
They feature large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were adopted to hold a "poncho,"
and the flaps were added to prevent the contents from falling out.
Because these pockets resemble a monkey's backside,
they are called "Monkey Pants."
The production period of the M44
was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"
from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Furthermore, because they were issued to the "elite few"
of the U.S. Marine Corps, the overall production volume was low,
which is why they fetch quite high prices in the vintage market.
The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps
actually wore them were...
・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 - Mar. 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 - Sep. 7, 1945).
Also, after World War II,
・Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 - Jul. 27, 1953)
They seem to have been worn a lot during these periods.
JELADO's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.
And the buttons are doughnut buttons,
which also creates a vintage feel.
By wearing them well,
you can enjoy the aging process.
Native pattern half-length coats and
Leather jackets... moreover,
They also go very well with coveralls, and
I recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.
Please reserve them at the store or online.
Thank you.
