The One-piece Leather Side Gore uses

Tatsuno waxed leather.

 

The characteristic of the One-piece Leather Side Gore, which has wax applied to the leather,

is that it may feel stiff at first, but since it uses wax that melts with body temperature,

as you wear it, the wax penetrates the leather,

and it gradually becomes softer.

 

And thanks to its one-piece leather construction,

it offers "lightness" and "comfort," and because it doesn't use a lining,

it "molds" to the wearer's foot, making it a highly popular

side gore boot among many customers.

 

Both Camel & Black are available in sizes

24.5 (US6.5) to 27 (US9).

for Ol' Shanks Engineer Boots,

another line of boots crafted by Mr. Riya Suzuki,

at our store.

　The model is the 10” Engineer Boot.

　Sizes are

US6.5 (24.5cm) to US11.0 (29.0cm),

in half-size increments.

 

With their unique form and hand-dyed finish,

these are truly one-of-a-kind, rare engineer boots.

 

Due to limited production, only a small number can be made,

so production is centered around orders received at 1 to 2 order events

per year.

 

The leather used is Italian horsebutt.

This leather from the horse's hindquarters has a dense fiber structure and suppleness

not found in cowhide, and develops beautiful wrinkles.

The tiger stripes, scars, and pinholes often seen on its surface

are all unique expressions of this leather.

 

While there are individual differences in the leather's appearance and wrinkle patterns for each pair,

each one is beautiful and showcases the unique character of this leather.

 

The boots can be hand-dyed by Mr. Suzuki in five colors:

　Black, Walnut (Dark Brown),

　Mahogany (Reddish Dark Brown),

　Dark Olive, Dark Navy.

 

Since aniline dyes are used,

the colors will have shading that highlights the texture of the leather.

You can also enjoy the aging process as the color fades relatively quickly.

 

For black,

a "pigment finish" is also available,

where the leather is initially a solid black,

and the brown core emerges over time.

 

Additionally, although sizes and quantities are limited,

you can also choose pigment pre-dyed brown-core black leather.

 

The soles are available in three types:

a sharp single leather sole,

a specification with a leather midsole only at the front,

and a separate type using a rubber half-sole.

 

You can also choose the color of the sole edge dyeing and stitch color.

The 41Khaki stencil changes with age

through repeated wear and washing.

The stencil, which is dark when new,

fades with washing, completely changing its look.

The old 41Khaki was discontinued

with its final delivery in May 2023.

 

In order to release a new chino pants to replace it,

we cut a high-priced vintage 41Khaki,

analyzed it, and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American Deep South cotton,

we reproduced the natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41Khaki was reactive dyed,

this new 41Khaki is vat dyed.

 

The 41Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle loom, and vat dyeing,

is finished without compromising the original atmosphere and fabric feel.

 

This is JELADO's ultimate chino pants,

meticulously crafted from the raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing...

It's the Last Resort Chino Cloth 

"41Khaki".

 

When it was last released, it sold out incredibly fast,

but the fabric is different.

 

It is a 100% cotton twisted yarn twill fabric.

The warp uses sulfur-dyed twisted yarn, and the weft uses

sulfur-dyed black yarn, resulting in a thick and firm fabric.

 

Since it's 100% cotton,

it will age beautifully with wear, so

we hope you enjoy how its appearance changes over time.

 

This item is produced only once a year, so we believe there are many customers

who have been eagerly awaiting it.

A small number of Age of Longing 407EXX items became available as free stock in December,

but they sold out in an instant.

 

As you may know, the LAST RESORT "Black Tag"

is the second installment in the Last Resort series,

following the original "White Tag"

that was released earlier.

 

Compared to the white tag, the black tag denim is not blue-ish,

but has a stronger black hue.

 

JELADO categorizes it as early and late 1947 models,

with the white tag, a strongly blue-tinged denim fabric,

being positioned as the late 1947 model.

The 501XX of this era is known as:

 

"The greatest masterpiece in 501XX history."

 

If you want to know why it's called that, please come to JELADO WEST (lol).

 

The white tag denim fabric focuses on the XX fabric of the 1950s.

 

So what about the strong black "black tag"??

 

World War II ended in 1945,

and during the war, each Levi's factory was producing

everyone's favorite "War Model."

 

After the war ended, material controls were lifted,

but it took a considerable amount of time for the details to return to their original form.

 

The reason is that a lot of denim fabric, auxiliary materials, etc., that were used in the war models remained.

 

LEVI'S denim fabrics also have No.1 denim to No.3 denim

(I only know up to No.3, but if No.4 or others exist, please let me know).

This refers to the quality of the denim fabric.

 

No.2 is a cheaper version of No.1 denim,

and No.3 is a cheaper version of No.2 denim.

However, the denim fabric used in the war models

was probably No.2 or No.3 denim, wasn't it?

 

After this denim fabric was used up,

it transitioned to what JELADO calls the "white tag."

The black tag denim falls into the transitional period from the end of the war until the denim fabric changed.

 

The ounce is 15 oz,

and since it uses heavily uneven yarn,

when worn repeatedly and aged,

it produces vertical fading like falling rain.

 

The real pleasure of denim is, after all,

"fading."

Fading is essential for "wearing" denim,

and it becomes completely different depending on the person.

I believe this pleasure is the greatest appeal of denim.

 

This time, an additional 400 pieces will be produced.

and for those who are considering purchasing it now,

I believe this is an opportunity to get your hands on one.
