〜JELADO's Special Vests〜

 

Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.

In my blog post last Wednesday, I introduced a coordination using a vest, but today we had Mr. Yamamoto, the manager of JELADO WEST, also known as 'Denim Jacket Guy,' style a vest for us.

 

Salem Vest Old Navy【AG63503】

 

Among the three vests introduced this time,

this one has arguably the most subdued color scheme.

Although the large Native American pattern makes a strong impact,

this coordination skillfully brings it all together.

The use of cat's eye shell buttons adds a touch of luxury.

 

Yellowstone Vest【AG82530】

 

This is a 2023AW product.

The camel color goes well with denim,

creating a very atmospheric styling, don't you think?

 

This is a JELADO's special blanket vest,

and this pattern took two years of repeated testing

to create a special blanket fabric.

 

The piped pockets and collar

create an elegant atmosphere.

This is also a very versatile vest.

 

Pueblo Vest【AG82531】

 

This is also a 2023AW product.

While the striped blanket vest might seem to have a flashy coloring at first glance,

like the Yellowstone Vest above,

the pockets and collar are piped...

and the use of buffalo horn buttons

creates a luxurious atmosphere.

 

In Wednesday's BLOG,

I styled it as an inner layer, but

I hope you will also refer to the 'Denim Jacket Guy' style

of wearing it over a denim jacket.

The base fabric is based on pre-1950s,

thick yet soft fabric.

To reproduce this, vintage flannel shirts were

thoroughly analyzed, and like Lee workwear,

a testing agency analyzed:

 

・Fiber length

・Twist coefficient

・Yarn count

・Number of threads per inch

 

in detail to develop a new flannel from scratch.

 

This product

uses sulfur dyes.

While the demand for sulfur dyeing has been low in recent years,

the "aging" effect from wear and

the soft "texture" and "feel" on the skin,

like being wrapped in a towel, are

exceptionally good and highly recommended.

 

This is a product that receives many inquiries

from customers concerned about sizing. We would be grateful if you could

consult with us in-store rather than by phone

(as we may not always be able to respond due to in-store customer visits, etc.).
