The leather is horsehide, approximately 1.6mm thick.

Gerard's "Rebel Jacket" is tanned with chrome tanning,

When combining chrome tanning and tannin tanning,

The leather has a more vibrant texture than leather that has only been chrome tanned.

By doing tannin tanning in a shorter time than it would normally take,

We have prepared leather that has just the right amount of weight and will change over time with repeated wear.

 

 

The base is dyed light brown, then finished at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo.

It is a brown core leather dyed black using a hill dyeing method.

 

This is colored using a semi-aniline finish, which is a mixture of half pigment and half dye.

 

As mentioned above, it has a softness that 100% pigment does not have.

With repeated wearing, the brown core leather underneath will begin to peek through.

 

And the lining is made of cupra.

It is easy to put on and take off, so you don't feel any stress.
