New colors of JELADO's autumn/winter staple mohair cardigan "Cobain" have arrived.

When it comes to American casual style in autumn and winter, many people probably think of heavy outerwear such as leather jackets.

However, we must not forget cardigans, which can be worn as both innerwear and outerwear.

JELADO Cobain [RG13838]

As the 90s revival continues, the mohair cardigan became popular in the vintage market after being worn by Court Cobain.

This mohair cardigan has been tailored in the JELADO style using high-quality materials. While vintage mohair cardigans have a mohair content of around 20-30% in the fabric, this "Cobain" has a mohair content of 70%, making it an extremely luxurious material.

By brushing this high-quality material as much as possible while still maintaining the thickness of the fabric, we have achieved both lightness and warmth.

This year's JELADO classic "Cobain" comes in these three new colors.

Easy-to-use ash

These are two Mondrian check patterns that are hard to find even in the vintage market and continue to rise in price. This is a pink/purple Harlequin pattern.

And yellow-based brulee.

"Mondrian check" is a checkered pattern reminiscent of the signature designs of Piet Mondrian, a leading figure in the 20th century painting scene.

Mondrian's minimalist style had a huge influence on the fashion industry, and Yves Saint Laurent, at the height of his power in the 60s, presented a collection that clearly featured Mondrian patterns, as seen above.

The heyday of the mohair cardigan was the 60s, so that may have been an influence as well.

JELADO's "Cobain" also features a very beautiful checkered pattern.
