New colors of JELADO's classic autumn/winter mohair cardigan "Cobain" have arrived.

When you think of American casual autumn/winter fashion, many of you probably picture heavy outerwear like leather jackets.

However, we must not forget cardigans, which can be worn both as an inner layer and as outerwear.

As the 90s revival continues, mohair cardigans, which gained popularity in the vintage market after being worn by Kurt Cobain, are back in style.

JELADO has created this mohair cardigan with high-quality materials in our own unique style. While vintage mohair cardigans typically have a mohair blend of around 20-30%, our "Cobain" boasts a luxurious 70% mohair blend.

By brushing this high-quality material to the absolute limit while maintaining its thickness, we have achieved both lightness and warmth.

This year's new colors for the classic JELADO "Cobain" are these three.

Easy-to-wear Ash,

And two "Mondrian check" patterns, which are rarely seen in the vintage market and continue to command high prices. This one is a pink/purple-based Harlequin.

And the yellow-based Brulee.

"Mondrian check" refers to a check pattern that resembles the iconic artwork of Piet Mondrian, a representative painter of the 20th century.

Mondrian's minimalist style has had a huge influence on the fashion industry, and Yves Saint Laurent, in his heyday in the 60s, also released a collection with a very Mondrian-like pattern, as shown above.

The heyday of mohair cardigans was also in the 60s, so there might have been some influence from that.

JELADO's "Cobain" also features a very beautifully expressed check pattern like this.
