Regarding this sweatshirt,

I love sweatshirts and own two of them.

This is a product that I would like to recommend to everyone.

 

 

 

 

Have you noticed?

This is the sleeve part of the sweatshirt.

It is curved.

 

What you often see is

I think it's a linear pattern.

This is set-in,

This refers to raglan sleeves.

 

The curved pattern...

This is called a freedom sleeve.

It first appeared in the late 1930s.

 

In the case of a straight sleeve,

When you raise your arm it causes a snag.

However, in the case of Freedom Sleeve,

The wide range of motion enhances performance

It was also popular as a sweatshirt that leads to improvement,

It disappeared in the 1950s due to poor production efficiency.

The base of Age of Longing 407EXX is

As you all probably know, these are 40s LEVI'S 506XX.

1st has a long history, and based on the materials I have,

The 1904XX existed in 506,

Based on this material, this model has been around for 120 years.

 

The 506XX was also produced on July 1937, 7, at the suggestion of Chris Lucia.

Although it is commonplace now, this is the first time that the red tab has been installed.

 

Time passed, and World War II came...

 

In this era when material restrictions meant that even small changes to the details were unavoidable,

Levi's faces this problem too.

 

The previous 5 buttons have been changed to 4 buttons,

The button was changed to a laurel button instead of one with the company name on it.

And the model with the chest pocket flap removed is

"LEVI'S S506XX"

The very popular model is known as the "War Model".

It is released under the name "44Leather Jacket."

After the war, material controls were lifted,

At the same time, LEVI'S was returning to its original details.

They were about to release a new denim.

Now a new problem arises.

 

The fabric used for the war model is

I think there was also the cost issue,

After using up this fabric without discarding it,

We are entering a transitional period where we are switching over to new denim.

 

jelado's Age of Longing 407EXX is

We are focusing on the LEVI'S 506XX from this transitional period,

 

 

We use dark denim.

The fabric has a napped texture and strong unevenness.

 

 

It will age and change with repeated wearing.

It falls randomly, like rain.

 

15 ounces thick and dark

The details of the 1st type 407EXX are as follows:

 

・Red tab is single-sided tab

 

・The waistband is narrower (compared to 406XX)

・Needle-cinch buckle

・15 ounces

 

Above the waistband on the back is a cinch buckle.

It comes with a buckle which can be used to adjust the size.

 

The hugely popular 55Denim Jacket 406XX is available at both Gerard stores and online.

The fabric is extremely soft and comfortable to wear

The difference between this and the 407EXX introduced earlier is,

 

- Two front pockets

・The red tab is a double-sided tab

 

The waistband is thick

・Adjuster buttons on the sides

・14 ounces

 

With adjuster buttons on the waistband,

The size can be adjusted.

 

 

From the war to 1947... until LEVI'S introduced the new denim

The 407EXX focuses on this transitional period,

We focus on 50s XX fabrics and are currently selling them in stores.
