When it comes to vintage coach jackets,

they are typically made of nylon.

However, JELADO's coach jackets

use a material called "64 Cloth,"

which is also used in mountain parkas.

 

※64 Cloth, made of 60% cotton and 40% nylon,

expands when it absorbs moisture, which prevents water from entering,

so it also has water repellent properties.

 

The lining is mesh material,

which provides good breathability,

making it easy to wear casually.

It's also highly fashionable and a jacket we highly recommend to everyone.

This time, I'll also be touching upon some vintage stories, so

it might be a bit long, but please do take a look.

Pre-orders have begun

for Age of Longing 407EXX, which is based on

the 40s LEVI'S 506XX, as I'm sure you all know.

The history of the 1st model is long; according to my materials,

the 506XX already existed in 1904,

making it a model that has existed for 120 years, based on these materials.

On July 1, 1937, a red tab was first attached to the 506XX,

at the suggestion of "Chris Lucia," which is now a standard feature.

Then, time passed, and World War II began...

During this era, due to material controls, changes in details were unavoidable, and

LEVI'S also faced this problem.

The previous 5-button design changed to 4 buttons,

and the company-named buttons were replaced with laurel leaf buttons.

The model with the chest pocket flap removed is known as

"LEVI'S S506XX,"

popularly known as the "War Model,"

and JELADO released a leather jacket with this design

under the name "44 Leather Jacket."

After the war, with the lifting of material controls,

LEVI'S was in the process of reverting to its original details when the company was about to

release new denim, but

a new problem arose here.

That is, there was a large quantity of fabric used for the War Model

still left at the factory.

Although cost was likely a factor,

after this fabric was used up without being discarded,

it entered a transitional period where it would switch to new denim.

JELADO's Age of Longing 407EXX focuses on

the LEVI'S 506XX from this transitional period, so

we use a very dark denim.

It's a fabric with a strong nep texture and unevenness.

Repeated wear will cause aging,

resulting in random vertical fading, like rain streaks.

The 15oz thickness and dark color

of the 1st type 407EXX features

・Single left-side pocket

・Single-sided red tab

・Narrow waistband (compared to 406XX)

・Pin-back cinch buckle

・15oz

Above the waistband on the back is a cinch buckle,

which is used to adjust the size.

Pre-orders for this popular item have finally begun,
