Today, we would like to introduce a restock of JELADO's standard items.
Champs Swest Shirt Plain [AB11214]
This is the Champs Sweatshirt.
Smoke Black and Black are continuing colors, but Grass Green is being introduced as a new color in this collection.
We commissioned Riding High to produce a sweatshirt that incorporates our unique freedom sleeve.
This item is knitted on an old knitting machine called Azuma knitting machine, using a seamless, tubular knitting method (without side seams).
The use of this knitting machine results in excellent elasticity and softness, and a unique fluffy texture that is different from conventional fabrics.
The Azuma knitting machine is a rare machine used to create pile fabrics with a vintage feel and lightness.
This knitting machine emerged around the 1970s during the transition from hanging knitting machines to innovative knitting machines, and its slow knitting process has led to a dwindling number of existing machines.
As a result, you can enjoy a textured surface and a fluffy feel.
We also pay close attention to the napping process.
For circular napping, the napping is applied evenly to all four sides to match the flat surface, which takes four times more effort than normal napping.
Furthermore, napping before dyeing enhances the unique texture of the material.
The sewing is almost entirely done with double needles, and the cuffs feature circular knit ribbing.
The cuff ribbing is attached in a single pass from the double-needle stitching under the armpit, faithfully reproducing vintage sewing methods.
This sweatshirt is finished to allow you to enjoy the unique texture and details of that era.
