JELADO 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket【AG72417】

 

 

 

 

The 24/7, one of JELADO's three classic leather jackets, has been restocked.

If you're interested in wearing a leather jacket but are unsure which style to choose, this model is probably the easiest to wear, even compared to rider's jackets or G-jean styles.

Of course, it's also a style that leather connoisseurs will want to own.

 

 

 

Many of you may already know this, but to reiterate, this 1930s-style sports jacket is named "24/7" with the desire that you wear it constantly, just like a convenience store that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

 

 

 

We use horsehide about 1.6mm thick, chrome-tan it, then rinse off the solvent and re-tan it with tannin.

This process brings out the best qualities of tannin, providing a moderate sense of leather weight and enhancing the aging process as it's worn.

After dyeing the base a light brown, we apply black pigment in an aniline finish at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo, resulting in what is known as "tea core" leather.

 

 

 

This time, to bring out a stronger black, we colored it with a semi-aniline finish, mixing half pigment and half dye.

After dyeing, we "dry-tumble" the leather to enhance its texture.

The dye that penetrates the base and the pigment that forms a thin film on top match perfectly, creating a beautiful aging effect as you wear it.

It offers a softness not found in 100% pigment-finished leather, and because a thin film of pigment is applied, the base color quickly appears as it is worn in.

reproducing the cinch back often seen cut off on actual vintage garments.

The back features a split-back (T-Back) design,

which is now a popular detail.

While Levi's 506XX prices are soaring year after year,

the split-back, adopted for sizes 46 and above,

sees an even greater price jump, costing millions of yen at vintage shops.

The 407EXX Vintage Finish,

which we are releasing this time,

will be available in four sizes: L, XL, XXL, and 50,

a size range made possible due to customer requests.

Due to it being a directly managed store exclusive

and a limited production of "only 100 pieces,"
