I myself used to refer to Kurt Cobain of the legendary rock band 'NIRVANA' for fashion inspiration.

 

And Kurt Cobain was known for

often wearing mohair cardigans.

 

'Kurt Cobain' = 'mohair cardigan'

I believe this is a common

keyword nowadays, isn't it?

 

JELADO's mohair cardigans are

named 'Cobain' in homage to 'Kurt Cobain'.

 

This Cobain cardigan...

is knitted with 7-gauge double jacquard,

and then subjected to a napping process.

 

It's brushed with a roller equipped with fine needle-like protrusions,

resulting in a very fine napped finish.

 

The fabric is extremely soft and comfortable,

making it perfect for a light cover-up in autumn and

recommended as an inner layer in the current season.

 

While it's often paired with denim,

it also goes well with chino pants and cargo pants,

making it easy to incorporate into various outfits...

The base fabric reproduces the thick yet soft material from before the 1950s.

To achieve this, we thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel shirts, and like Lee workwear,

We had an inspection agency analyze the following in detail:

 

・Staple length

・Twist coefficient

・Yarn count

・Number of threads per inch

 

Based on this analysis, we developed a new flannel from scratch.

 

This product uses sulfur dye.

While the demand for sulfur dyeing is low in recent years,

the "aging" effect from wearing it and the fluffy "texture" and "feel against the skin,"

which feel like being wrapped in a towel, are exceptionally good and highly recommended.

 

We receive many inquiries from customers regarding the size of this product,

but we would appreciate it if you could consult with us at the store rather than by phone

(as we may not be able to respond depending on the situation, such as during store visits).
