That's Mega Thermal.

 

We are selling it again this year, so much so that we want to make that our catchphrase.

 

For the JELADO staff,

Mega Thermal is an essential staple innerwear.

I myself buy two Mega Thermals every year,

and with my new purchase this year, I now own six.

 

This Mega Thermal, which even our staff love to wear,

is usually restocked in December, but this year, surprisingly...

The reason is that things are moving very quickly this year, and the number of items is decreasing daily in stores and online.

 

 

Although the Mega Thermal arrived late this year, it still arrived at the beginning of September.

 

Furthermore, it was hot until October this year,

so it's not high season yet, but...

However, as I mentioned earlier, the Mega Thermal will be restocked

"earlier than scheduled."

 

The Mega Thermal will arrive this weekend, but everyone... it's an "earlier" arrival.

This means it will be "the last arrival of the year."

 

It's not yet high season, but as it's already "the last arrival of the year,"

there will undoubtedly be a fierce scramble for it.

【Pre-order item・Expected arrival in November-December】JELADO Grassbag【JP83814】

 

This time, I'm introducing a Cowichan sweater.

This will be JELADO's first hand-knitted Cowichan sweater.

 

※What is Cowichan in Cowichan sweaters?

It originates from the traditional cold-weather clothing of the "Cowichan people," indigenous inhabitants of "Vancouver Island" in Canada.

Sweaters and cardigans knitted from thick, oily wool repel water and offer excellent warmth. Cowichans have a unique texture and weight, and are characterized by geometric patterns or animal motifs such as the Thunderbird (grouse), the sacred bird of the Cowichan people, and reindeer. They are hand-knitted.

 

 

This product is a collaboration item with GIM.

The "Glass bag," produced using GIM's manufacturing background,

is based on a 1960s Cowichan knit.

 

When it comes to 1960s Cowichan knits,

you'll find wolves, carp, thunderbirds, totem poles,

reindeer, as well as classic cars, bowling, and snow patterns.

 

JELADO's "Glass bag" features a bison pattern,

which is rarely seen even in vintage pieces.

 

 

While reproducing the bison pattern, we also emphasize the roughness of vintage clothing and the "atmosphere" that can only be expressed through hand-knitting.

Half (4 strands) of the 8-ply yarn is randomly made from *recycled yarn to create variations in color and thickness, producing a vintage feel.

 

 

Even in these two images, you can see the color variations

created by using recycled yarn.

 

About recycled yarn:

This yarn is made by collecting and reusing discarded wool from spinning mills.

It is a blended yarn of 97% recycled wool and 3% polyester, with a basic hand-knitted plain stitch.

However, by mixing in garter stitches in some parts, we have expressed its atmosphere.

 

This is my personal opinion, but

for those who were avid readers of "BOON" in the late 1990s, when Ryoko Hirosue, Yuki Uchida, and Rie Tomosaka were on the cover,

there were features on Cowichan sweaters. So, for customers in their 40s and 50s who love vintage clothing and were interested in fashion,

this item might bring back a sense of nostalgia, don't you think?

 

This Glass bag is expected to be in stores

from late October to early November, so

LAST RESORT "White Tag" focuses on 1950s XX fabric,

and is JELADO original fabric produced from scratch after cutting and analyzing deadstock fabric.

 

It is a 14oz indigo denim with a strong blue tint,

and its soft fabric makes it comfortable to wear.

 

At the WEST store, we have worn samples from our staff,

so please come and try them on at the store.
