Today, I'd like to jump right into introducing some products.

These are our standard Mega Thermals.

All of us staff members agree when we say,

"We can't get through winter without them."

And that's the truth.

I personally own six Mega Thermals, and I'm planning to buy more this year.

(No matter how many you have, they're always useful.)

JELADO's Mega Thermals have large irregularities in their waffle fabric,

which traps layers of air.

As this air warms up, the heat retention increases.

In the winter season, when you tend to layer many clothes,

wearing a Mega Thermal as an inner layer allows you to coordinate outfits

without looking bulky.

*Since the fabric has a somewhat relaxed feel,

we recommend wearing one size smaller than your usual size.

This time, I'll also intersperse some vintage stories, so it will be a long read, but please bear with me.

The base for the Age of Longing 407EXX, for which pre-orders have begun,

is, as many of you probably know, the 40s LEVI'S 506XX.

The history of the 1st model is long, and according to the materials I have,

the 506XX existed in 1904. Based on these materials, it's a model that has been around for 120 years.

Then, on July 1, 1937, at the suggestion of "Chris Lucia,"

the red tab, which is now taken for granted, was attached for the first time to the 506XX.

Time passed, and then came World War II...

During this era, when changes in details were unavoidable due to material controls,

LEVI'S also faced this problem.

The previous 5-button design changed to 4 buttons,

and the buttons with the company name were replaced with laurel wreath buttons.

And the model with the chest pocket flap removed is none other than

"LEVI'S S506XX,"

the popular "War Model," which JELADO has recreated in a leather jacket.

 

It is released under the name "44Leather Jacket".

*This time, we will omit the detailed information.

 

After the war, with the lifting of material controls,

LEVI'S was also in the process of reverting to its original details, and the LEVI'S company

was about to announce new denim,

but a new problem arose.

 

There was a large quantity of fabric used for the wartime models

at the factory.

I assume it was also for cost reasons,

but after using up this fabric without discarding it,

we entered a transitional period where it would switch to new denim.

 

Jelado's Age of Longing 407EXX

focuses on LEVI'S 506XX from this transitional period,

 

 

We use denim with a strong dark hue.

The fabric is slubby and has a strong unevenness.

 

 

Through repeated wear, it will age beautifully,

developing random vertical fading like rain.

 

The 15oz thickness and dark hue

of the 1st type 407EXX feature the following details:

 

・Single pocket on the left side only

・Red tab is single-sided

 

・Narrow waistband (compared to 406XX)

・Pin-back cinch buckle

・15oz

 

On the back, above the waistband, there is a cinch buckle,

which is used to adjust the size.

 

Reservations for this popular item have finally begun,

so please try it on at the store and make a reservation after confirming the fit.
