Today, I'd like to introduce you to this product that recently arrived.

 

JELADO Smoker Shirt [JP03105]

 

(Eggplant)

 

 

(Choco)

 

 

 

 

The silhouette and details are the same as JELADO's classic

"Smoker Shirt," but

 

・45% cotton

・35% wool

・20% poly

 

It uses a cotton-wool

※"dark check fabric."

 

※This refers to a dark-toned

check pattern fabric made from woolen yarn.

 

The 2024AW Smoker Shirt, made with a dark-toned check fabric,

is available in two colors: Eggplant and Choco,

creating a sophisticated look.

 

The key feature of this shirt is

the asymmetrical "Gacha Pocket" on the front.

 

Its official name is the "Convenience Pocket,"

and it was patented in 1929.

 

The vertical pocket can be used as a pen holder,

and while it's sewn onto the main body,

the smaller cigarette pocket is made to float by being bag-stitched.

 

This detail, designed to prevent cigarettes from getting damp,

has also been faithfully reproduced.

JELADO Hoghead Wabash Trousers【AG02307】

These trousers were originally "waist overalls"

from an era without belt loops, but for ease of use,

we've added belt loops. However,

as they are quite narrow,

we've produced a dedicated belt for them.

 

 

 

Pre-orders for this belt have begun.

Only the Gold × Black color is available for pre-order at this time.

(There will also be a Gold × Brown option available later.)

 

This belt is made from

*Horween's Chromexcel leather,

and as you use it repeatedly,

you can enjoy the aging process unique to "tea core" leather,

where the brown core becomes visible over time.

 

In particular, as the surface wears or gets scratched,

the underlying color gradually emerges, creating a vintage feel.

 

 

*Horween's Chromexcel leather is a high-quality material

developed about 100 years ago using a combination tanning process.

It is slowly infused with natural oils and fats like beef tallow and beeswax,

characterized by its substantial feel and flexibility.

 

 

The buckle is made of cast brass,

the belt loop is made of iron,

and a matte brass plating finish is applied for a cohesive look.

For fastening, an intentionally old-style

four-prong snap button is used, and a leather reinforcement piece is added to the inside,

demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.

 

This belt is a

collaboration between JELADO and BUTTON WORKS,

featuring a special design with both brands' engravings and

the Horween stamp on the back.

 

This belt can be used with items other than the Hoghead Wabash Trousers,

so please consider purchasing it.
