The setting is mid-18th century Western Europe.

At that time, sleeveless vests were popular

even in the military and at court.

It has a slightly longer length style,

and can be cinched at the waist with a drawstring.

While wearing a vest over a shirt is recommended,

this vest pairs well with items other than shirts,

making it a highly versatile piece.

It also adds an accent to your outfit,

so I encourage everyone to wear it.

The Rebel Jacket is

a riders jacket that has been a long-standing classic

at JELADO.

To make it a simple riders jacket,

we eliminated the epaulets.

Furthermore, instead of quilting,

we use cupro to make it easy to put on and take off,

pursuing a comfortable fit.

With 1.6mm thick leather and a semi-aniline finish,

it offers a softness not found in 100% pigmented leather, and since this is "teacore leather",

you can enjoy its aging process as you wear it repeatedly.

There is one more item available for pre-order.

This is also a very popular product,

and when it was previously released, it sold out quickly,

with sizes becoming unavailable in no time.

【Pre-order Item, Expected Arrival in June】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】

These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric,

which was adopted in 1947.

※ What is Herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring" and "bone"

The pattern resembles the bones seen when a herring fish is opened,

which is the origin of its name.

Baker pants were worn in combat zones,

but are also said to have been worn during office work.

Furthermore, it is said that the name "Baker Pants"

originated from the fact that bakers wore them.

Since they are made of herringbone twill fabric,

they are thick and durable.

Also, since they are 100% cotton,

you can enjoy the aging process as you wear them repeatedly.

And although we have been taking reservations for this item for a while now,

it was a popular item at the 2025SS preview.

【Pre-order Item, Expected Arrival Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

Speaking of USMC M44 Monkey Pants,

they were pants issued to the Marines,

and are popular items in the vintage industry

with the nickname "Monkey Pants."

The origin of that name is this...

A large, horizontally long cargo pocket with a flap.

This large pocket was adopted to hold a "poncho,"

and the reason for the flap was to prevent the contents from falling out.

Because this pocket resembles a monkey's buttocks,

they are called "Monkey Pants."

The manufacturing period of the M44 was

actually very short, lasting "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Also, because they were issued to the "elite few"

US Marines, the overall production volume was low,

so they are traded at very high prices in the vintage market.

The periods when the US Marines actually wore them were...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 - March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 - September 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II,

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953)

It seems they were frequently worn during these conflicts.

JELADO's Monkey Pants use herringbone fabric for the material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are donut buttons,

which also creates a vintage feel.
