~Highlander Vest Outfits & This Week's New Video: "Sales Manager Mori Explains the 41 Series"~ [WEST]

~Highlander Vest~

Good evening, this is Uemura from WEST.

Today's blog featuresコーディネート of the Highlander Vest

by WEST staff.

The 2 Monkeys Highlander Vest【TM11552】

Yamamoto is wearing Caramel.

He is wearing 301XX denim.

JELADO Age of Longing 301XX Denim Pants【JP94301】

This is a classic denim outfit

typical of Yamamoto,

but by incorporating a shirt,

he has successfully integrated a French Mix Style.

The shirt is from The 2Monkeys.

The 2 Monkeys Linen Cambrai Shirt【TM11150】

is what he is wearing.

This is a popular shirt at JELADO WEST,

made of thin 100% linen,

but it is tightly woven.

Plus, it's lightweight, so it can be worn until autumn.

Highly recommended.

Looking only at the upper body, it's a sharp

style, but the paired denim

has aged, creating a nice relaxed feel,

which further enhances the atmosphere.

I definitely encourage everyone

to try it out.

I wore Walnut.

This Highlander Vest

JELADO Hoghead Wabash Trousers【AG02307】

pairs perfectly with anything,

so much so that I personally "heavy rotate" it.

It's incredibly versatile and highly recommended.

Like Yamamoto,

I'm also wearing a "Linen Cambrai Shirt,"

but the one I'm wearing is

the previous model, which is now sold out.

The boots are also from The 2Monkeys,

The 2 Monkeys ELASTOS【TM01945】

These are the ones I'm wearing.

Decorated with brogue and stitching.

V-shaped elastic on both sides,

and a center seam that gives the instep a

curved, rising style.

And this Victorian Blue

color is captivating.

They are comfortable to wear, and I want everyone to try them on.

They are that kind of pair.

This time, I introduced the Highlander Vest

in two styles, but

it's very versatile and adds a definite accent

to your everyday style, so please give it a try.

~Information on Pre-order Items~

We would like to introduce the following items that are now available for pre-order.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving June】JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Semi Aniline Finish Black【SG71428】

The Rebel Jacket is

a long-standing standard rider's jacket

from JELADO.

To make it a simple rider's jacket,

the epaulets have been removed.

Furthermore, instead of quilting,

cupro is used to make it easier to put on and take off,

a garment designed for ease of wear.

With 1.6mm thick leather and a semi-aniline finish,

it has a softness not found in 100% pigmented leather, and since it is "tea-core leather,"

you can enjoy its aging as you wear it repeatedly.

There is one more item available for pre-order.

This is also a very popular product,

when it was released previously, it sold out very quickly,

with sizes disappearing in an instant.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving June】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】

These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric,

adopted in 1947.

※ What is herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring" (fish) and "bone"

The pattern is named after the bones visible

when a herring fish is split open.

Baker pants were worn on the battlefield,

but also during internal office work.

It is also said that they were worn by bakers, which is how they got the name "baker pants."

Since they are made of herringbone twill fabric,

they are thick and durable.

Also, since they are 100% cotton, you can enjoy their aging

as you wear them repeatedly.

And this item has been available for pre-order for a while now,

and it was a popular item at the 2025SS preview.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

When you hear USMC M44 Monkey Pants,

they were pants issued to the Marines,

and are popular items in the Vintage industry

under the nickname "Monkey Pants."

The origin of that name is this...

Large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted for carrying a "poncho,"

and the reason for the flaps was to prevent the contents from falling out.

These pockets resemble a monkey's buttocks,

which is why they are called "Monkey Pants."

The M44's production period was

actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Also, because they were issued to the "elite few"

U.S. Marine Corps,

the overall production volume was low, so they are traded at quite high prices

in the Vintage market.

The period when the U.S. Marine Corps

actually wore them was...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb 19 - Mar 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar 26 - Sep 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II,

・Korean War (Jun 25, 1950 - Jul 27, 1953)

They seem to have been worn extensively.

Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone as the material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dye.

And the buttons are donut buttons,

which also creates a vintage feel.

By wearing them thoroughly, you can enjoy the aging process.

You can enjoy the aging process.

Native pattern half-length coats and

leather jackets... and even

coveralls, they pair very well,

and I also recommend pairing them with chambray shirts.

Please make your reservations in-store or online.

Thank you.

Reservations are now open for popular items.

We look forward to receiving your reservations.

Thank you in advance.
