This is the new "Farmers Shirt" flannel shirt from JELADO,

which was released in spring.

 

Based on flannel shirts from before the 1950s,

this shirt...

 

Although it doesn't have the LAST RESORT TAG,

we've taken apart vintage items

to analyze them.

 

The key feature of this shirt, I believe,

is its "fabric feel."

 

The soft, fluffy texture is a new sensation for flannel shirts,

and it feels as comfortable as being wrapped in a towel.

 

It features gussets, typical of old shirts,

and although I'm pairing it with chino pants this time,

 

it also looks great with denim.

 

We have samples (both colors in M size) available at the store,

so please try them on and consider pre-ordering.

LAST RESORT BLACK TAG

Age of Longing 301EXX

 

 

 

This model focuses on the early 1947 501XX.

 

During this era, yellow stitching was generally common,

but orange stitching was also used in places like the back yoke and other areas,

This specification is referred to as "rainbow stitching".

The 301EXX incorporates this characteristic

because the vintage model it was based on had this specification.

 

 

As you can see from the image, it's not a bluish denim fabric,

but rather a dark, blackish denim fabric.

While a more bluish denim was introduced in the later 1947 501XX model,

until its introduction, a darker denim fabric was used.

 

This is because after World War II,

Levi's factories had a surplus of the dark fabric used for

S506XX (wartime model first) and S501XX (wartime model 501XX).

Levi's continued to use this dark fabric until it ran out, and then introduced the bluer fabric.

The Age of Longing 301EXX is a model from this transitional period.

 

 

This image shows the reverse side of the fabric, where you can see slubs.

This uneven and slubby fabric, when worn repeatedly and washed,

will show dramatic vertical fading.

 

 

This has been worn for 1 year.

You can clearly see the vertical fading.

I did squats every day for six months to create wild creases.

 

 

The rainbow stitching I mentioned earlier

is also clearly visible on the back.

 

 

When washed and tumble-dried,

the back yoke shrinks, creating pronounced puckering.

The pocket edges also look great.

 

15oz dark denim.

Unlike the 301XX (white tag) with the same model number,

the silhouette is slim.

It's also recommended for those who prefer a clean style,

so please come and try it on in store.
