This EXPEDITION SWEAT CARDIGAN was produced with the cooperation of Riding High.

As for the color variations, we have reproduced the rare colors that were highly valued in the 90s, Grape and Green Apple.

In the 2000s, Full Snap photos were considered more valuable, and we believe that rare colored photos were highly valued even back then.

 

 

 

It is knitted with 100% cotton and American cotton air-spun yarn, with the face yarn being 14/- (air-spun yarn), the middle yarn being 20/- (right-leaning), and the back yarn being 10/-.

In particular, we have modified the knitting machine parts to create volume in the back yarn. We discussed with the knitters the gauge of the knitting machine with an emphasis on reproducing the front yarn, and we have also developed our own original 12G and needles in-house.

 

 

 

We paid particular attention to how the fabric is brushed, using an American-style brushing machine to recreate the same brushed fleece look as vintage items.

In order to recreate the feel of the dry fabric of that time, the fabric is degreased after knitting.

 

 

 

We focused on reproducing the texture of the fabric, achieving high quality such as the same firmness of the fabric as vintage items and the texture of the knit on the surface.

The sewing is done carefully using degreased, stiff fabric, and two needles are used to connect each part.

We believe that we have succeeded in recreating Reverse Weave, a style whose popularity continues to grow today, at a high level.

 

 

This sweatshirt cardigan can be worn either just the right size or oversized, making it extremely convenient for throwing on as a light layer.
