The 2 Monkeys ELASTOS【TM01945】

WEST Yamamoto and I, Uemura,

often wear the same items from The 2Monkeys,

and now Yamamoto has

purchased ELASTOS, so we're matching again.

This is a good thing, not a bad thing.

The fact that both of us are buying it =

it seems to sell well at WEST.

Since that's been the case so far,

I think it will be the same this time.

The elegant ELASTOS

is the first Chelsea boot from The 2Monkeys,

with V-shaped elastic,

perforations and stitching for decoration.

The center seam creates a curved silhouette, making

this boot very attractive.

The unique "Victorian Blue" coloring is a bluish green.

And we also recommend "Albert Brown," a very cool adult dark brown.

The Rebel Jacket

is a long-standing staple rider's jacket at JELADO.

To make it a simple rider's jacket,

we've eliminated the epaulets.

Furthermore, instead of quilting,

we used cupra to make it easier to put on and take off,

prioritizing wearability.

With 1.6mm thick leather and a semi-aniline finish,

it offers a softness that 100% pigment cannot, and as "tea-core leather,"

you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.

There's one more item available for pre-order.

This is another very popular item.

When it was released previously, it sold out very quickly,

and sizes ran out in no time.

【Pre-order item, arriving June】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】

These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric, adopted in 1947.

※ What is herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring" and "bone"

The name comes from the pattern resembling the bones of a herring when it's filleted.

Baker pants were worn in battle,

but also during indoor work.

It's also said that they were worn by bakers, which is the origin of the name "Baker Pants."

Since they are made of herringbone twill fabric,

they are thick and durable.

Also, since they are 100% cotton, you can enjoy their aging process with repeated wear.

And this item has been available for pre-order for a while now, but

it was a popular item at the 2025SS preview event.

【Pre-order item, arriving early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

USMC M44 Monkey Pants are

pants issued to the Marine Corps, and are

popular in the vintage industry

under the nickname "Monkey Pants."

The origin of their name is as follows...

The large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted to hold a poncho,

and the flaps were included to prevent the contents from falling out.

Because these pockets resemble a monkey's backside,

they are called "Monkey Pants."

The production period of the M44 was

actually very short, just "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Also, because they were issued to the

"elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the total production volume was small, so they fetch

quite high prices in the vintage market.

The period during which the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them was...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 - March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 - September 7, 1945).

And after World War II,

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953)

It seems they were widely worn during these periods.

Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone fabric for the material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dye.

And the buttons are donut buttons, which adds to the vintage feel.

You can enjoy the aging process by wearing them thoroughly.

They pair well with native pattern half-length coats,

leather jackets, and even

coveralls.
