The 2 Monkeys ELASTOS【TM01945】Victorian Blue

 

 

Both colors of ELASTOS,

arrived today, albeit in limited quantities.

 

In the late 19th century...

Side-gore boots were among

the most worn shoes in England and America.

 

Side-gore boots, likely invented around 1830,

used elastic fabric, which had just become practical then,

on both sides of the ankle to achieve a snug fit without laces.

They were marketed as a very rare and new type of shoe at the time.

 

What I think after buying these myself is that,

while they are definitely "light" and "comfortable to wear,"

it's really the ornamentation. The boots would be completely different

with or without it. This ornamentation enhances their elegance.

The colors available are "Victorian Blue"

and "Albert Brown".

 

These side-gore boots are very light, extremely comfortable, and

above all, easy to put on and take off.

 

They are boots that I really want to recommend and have everyone wear.
