The 2 Monkeys ELASTOS【TM01945】

The ELASTOS...

has arrived at Jelado West for customers who pre-ordered.

 

Actually, I had placed a reservation for it.

 

Anyway, today I'm going to write whatever I want

about this ELASTOS.

 

My apologies if it ends up being a long read.

 

(Product Description)

 

In the late 19th century...

one of the most commonly worn shoes

in England and America was the

"Chelsea boot."

 

The Chelsea boot, likely born around 1830,

was marketed as a very unusual and new shoe at the time,

featuring elastic fabric on both sides of the ankle,

which had just been commercialized, allowing for a snug fit

without the need for shoelaces.

 

At the time, there were likely both decorated

and undecorated versions.

I believe this distinction, whether decorated or not,

was based on social class...

 

"ELASTOS" is a short-cut boot that can be worn all year round,

incorporating elegant styles and details

from Chelsea boots of that era.

 

 

 

 

From here, I'll write my honest feelings,

without any flattery, about what I felt after purchasing them.

 

What I think after buying these is that

they are "light" and "comfortable to wear,"

but it's really the decoration.

 

Without it, these would have been

completely different boots.

 

I think this brogue decoration

really brings out the elegance of ELASTOS.

 

And above all, that bluish green...

the color called "Victorian Blue."

 

I myself was drawn to this color.

 

Needless to say,

it really stimulated my desire to buy.

 

That's how much I fell in love with

this color of ELASTOS.

 

And now that I've tried them on, I find them even more appealing

than when I bought them.

 

That's why I want everyone, men and women alike,

to wear these Chelsea boots:

The old 41Khaki was discontinued

after its final shipment in May 2023.

 

To release a new chino pant to replace it,

we cut up and analyzed a highly prized vintage 41Khaki

and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep-south cotton,

we recreated natural uneven yarn.

 

While the previous 41Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes,

this 41Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.

 

The 41Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle loom, and vat dye,

is finished to retain the original atmosphere and fabric feel.

 

From raw cotton, yarn, weaving, to dyeing,

this ultimate chino pant is meticulously crafted in every aspect…

When it was last stocked, it sold out incredibly fast,

and it is a very popular item with many customers waiting for the next arrival,

【Pre-order item, arriving March】JELADO Farmers Shirt 【JP01123】

The base fabric is based on pre-1950s work shirts.

To reproduce the thick yet soft fabric,

we thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel shirts

and sent them to a testing institution, just like Lee workwear,

 

• fiber length

• twist coefficient

• yarn count

• thread count

 

We meticulously analyzed these factors and developed a new flannel from scratch.

 

This product uses

sulfur dyes.

Although the demand for sulfur dyeing is low in recent years,

the "aging" effect from wear and

the fluffy "fabric feel" and "touch" that feel like being wrapped in a towel

are exceptionally good and highly recommended.

 

This is a product that receives many inquiries

from customers concerned about sizing, but we would appreciate it if you could consult us in-store

rather than by phone (as we may not be able to respond due to in-store traffic, etc.).

a secret weapon or ace up one's sleeve.

If the white tag is the first line of defense,

then the "blue tag" series is the fourth line, following the black tag and brown tag.

 

The white and black tags focus on LEVI'S,

the brown tag focuses on 41Khaki…

So what about the blue tag?

 

The blue tag is a collection centered around workwear,

and when it comes to representative workwear,

"Lee" is indispensable.

 

LAST RESORT's "blue tag" focuses on

light-ounce denim workwear.

 

Since it's 10.5 oz denim,

unlike the white and black tags, the lower ounce blue tag

is sure to show a different kind of aging.
