〜ELASTOS〜
Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.
Today, I'd like to introduce
ELASTOS from The 2Monkeys.
ELASTOS is The 2Monkeys' only
Chelsea boot.
The leather used here
is 'kip leather'.
*Between calf and adult cow (6 months to 2 years old)
Since it's shrunk,
you can also see grain.
By wearing them regularly, wrinkles will form on the upper,
and the color will deepen, giving them a different look
than when they were purchased.
V-shaped elastic goring on the side
Ornamentation with brogueing and stitching
The curved instep that arises from the center seam
These boots exude
a sense of elegance.
As for this ELASTOS,
Albert Brown
The 2 Monkeys ELASTOS【TM01945】
Victorian Blue
The 2 Monkeys ELASTOS【TM01945】
They come in two colors.
Albert Brown, with its dark brown tones, creates a sophisticated atmosphere,
and Victorian Blue, a rare greenish-blue that I fell in love with at first sight...
Please come and try them on at the store
and make a purchase.
〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜
【Pre-order item, arriving early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
The USMC M44 Monkey Pants were issued to the Marine Corps,
and are a popular item in the vintage industry, affectionately known as 'Monkey Pants'.
The origin of their name is as follows...
These pants feature large horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were designed to hold 'ponchos',
and the flaps were added to prevent items from falling out.
Because these pockets resemble the buttocks of a monkey,
they are called 'Monkey Pants'.
The M44 was produced for a very short period, only '1 year and 3 months',
from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Also, because they were issued to the 'elite few' of the US Marine Corps,
the total production volume was small, so they are traded at quite high prices
in the vintage market.
The period during which the US Marine Corps actually wore them was...
・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 - Mar. 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 - Sep. 7, 1945).
Also, after World War II,
・Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 - Jul. 27, 1953)
It seems they were worn extensively during these times.
Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dye.
And the buttons are donut buttons,
which also creates a vintage feel.
By wearing them diligently, you can enjoy their aging process.
Native pattern half-length coat, or
leather jacket... and even
It also pairs very well with coveralls.
I also recommend pairing it with a chambray shirt.
Please reserve yours in-store or online.
Thank you.
