These are baker pants made from a fabric called "Herringbone Twill,"

adopted in 1947.

※ What is Herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring" and "bone"

The origin is the pattern reminiscent of the bones seen when a herring fish is split open.

Baker pants were worn not only in battle but also

during desk work.

It is also said that they got their name "Baker Pants" because bakers wore them.

Since it's herringbone twill fabric,

it has thickness and durability.

Also, since it's 100% cotton, you can enjoy the aging process

as you wear it repeatedly.
