Today, I'd like to introduce some items from our autumn/winter collection.

 

JELADO Brighton Camel【AG83406】

This product is manufactured using a jacquard loom, which is the only one in operation in the "Bishu" region of Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture.

 

 

This A-1 type jacket is made from a special blanket fabric,

and it took two years to create this native pattern.

 

The Brighton is based on A-1 type jackets from the 1930s,

featuring a meticulously crafted native blanket fabric

and pockets designed in a style seen in vintage pieces.

 

 

 

Please come to the store to try on and purchase this native pattern jacket,

made from special blanket fabric that our representative Goto was particular about crafting.

This Engineer Boot reproduces a 1950s engineer boot

with rare details owned by our representative Goto.

 

U.S.N 41 Service Shoes【JB94902】

And here are the U.S.N. 41 Service Shoes,

reproduced from a duplicated last (owned by Mr. Suzuki)

of a 1941 U.S. NAVY service shoe.

The U.S.N. 41 Service Shoes are made from glass leather.

 

In addition, KOTOKA, jointly launched by seven shoe manufacturers in Nara, will be there.

This one-piece leather derby has been a staple at WEST since we started carrying it.

And this one-piece leather side gore is also very popular.

Because it's one piece of leather, it's comfortable to wear,

and each type of leather has its own characteristics,

Hoghead Wabash Trousers 【AG02307】

JELADO Hoghead Wabash Trousers [AG02307]

These trousers were originally "waist overalls"

from an era before belt loops were common. However, for ease of use,

we've added belt loops. Since the width is quite narrow,

we've produced a dedicated belt.

Reservations for this have begun.

Only the Gold × Black color is available for pre-order.

(There is also a Gold × Brown option available)

This belt uses

※Horween's Chromexcel leather,

and by using it repeatedly,

you can enjoy the aging process unique to brown core leather.

In particular, the underlying color gradually appears due to surface wear and scratches,

creating a vintage-like atmosphere.

※Chromexcel leather from Horween Company

is a high-quality material developed about 100 years ago using a combination tanning process.

It is characterized by its substantial feel and flexibility,

achieved by thoroughly impregnating it with natural oils such as beef tallow and beeswax.

 

 

The buckle is made of cast brass,

the belt loop is made of iron,

and a matte brass plating finish is applied as a final touch to ensure overall consistency.

For fastening, an intentionally old-style

four-split snap button is used, and

a leather reinforcement patch is added on the inside, among other details,

resulting in a carefully finished product.

 

This belt is

a collaboration product between JELADO and BUTTON WORKS,

featuring the engravings of both brands and

the Horween Company stamp on the back,

making it a special edition.

 

This belt can be used with items other than

Hoghead Wabash Trousers,

so please consider purchasing it.
