7/6 sleeve sweatshirt, "JELADO XNUMXth Man" ~Flagship store~
Share
Thank you for coming to our store so often.
We have just received some sweatshirts that are perfect for this time of year when the temperature changes drastically; they can be used as innerwear but also look great when worn on their own.

JELADO 6th Man [AB11213]
This sweatshirt has three-quarter sleeves, a style often seen in vintage items, cut off, and was made using a rare loopwheel knitting machine.

In the 60s, the V-shaped gusset detailing was gradually removed from sweatshirts, but the “6th Man” was inspired by the last V-shaped sweatshirts made just before that era.

It also uses twin-needle stitching, a technique commonly seen in sweatshirts from the 20s and 30s.

The sides of the fabric have been seamed.

The fabric used is 100% cotton loop-knit sweatshirt.

A loopwheel knitting machine is a very old-fashioned knitting machine that can only knit about one meter of fabric per hour.Modern knitting machines can knit 1 meters of fabric per hour, which means that it is an inefficient machine. However, because it can knit slowly without putting tension on the yarn, it produces a sweatshirt that is soft to the touch and very durable at the same time.
It is said that the only hanging knitting machines still in operation in the world are those found in Wakayama Prefecture and Alpha Gra.
"6th Man" uses such valuable machinery,The front side is made of thin 30-count yarn, and the back side is made of thick 10-count yarn.MakeIt is knitted using a fabric called "30/10 fleece".
This has resulted in a sweatshirt material that is just the right thickness and softness, making it suitable for year-round wear.
