JELADO Last Resort 66 Black Denim【JP01314】

JELADO 314 Last Resort 66 Black Denim V/F【JP01314VF】

 

 

 

The 66 denim, which uses LAST RESORT white tags, has a slim silhouette.

 

The pre-dyed black denim from the 90s...

 

Inspired by this, we have now released black denim

made from our Last Resort denim fabric, which focuses on 50s XX fabric.

 

The comfort unique to white tags is still present.

In addition, the slim silhouette, characteristic of the 66 model,

is the key feature.

 

Speaking of white tags, there's the "312ZXX"

denim, which is "slim and tapered."

 

How different are the 312ZXX and 66 denim?

Today's blog delves into that.

 

 

Verification (Both models measured at W28)

 

First, the waist...

Measured with the 312ZXX and 66 denim laid flat.

 

・312ZXX / 34cm laid flat

・66 denim / 33.5cm laid flat (-0.5cm)

There was almost no difference here.

 

Rise

・312ZXX / 27.5cm

・66 denim / 27.5cm (±0cm)

No difference here either.

 

Thigh width

・312ZXX / 27cm

・66 denim / 28cm (+1cm)

 

Inseam

(Top is 312ZXX, bottom is 66 denim)

 

・312ZXX / 78cm

・66 denim / 84.5cm (+6.5cm)

 

Finally, the hem width...

(Top is 312ZXX, bottom is 66 denim)

 

・312ZXX / 16cm

・66 denim / 19cm (+3cm)

 

The results show that while numerically there isn't much difference with the 312ZXX,

the 312ZXX has a shorter inseam and narrower hem width than the 66 denim,

giving it a more tapered look.

 

Although the 66 is also slim, it has a longer inseam

and a hem width that's +3cm. My impression is that it's recommended for those who usually wear 301EXX

but want to try even slimmer pants!

This is the Last Resort CHINO CLOTH

In a 41Khaki stencil pattern...

 

The number of these is extremely limited,

Yet it is a popular item.

We have worn samples at both stores, but

 

Even we staff members "can't buy it without reserving it,"

So if you are considering it,

By repeatedly wearing and washing it,

The 41Khaki stencil will age over time.

The stencil, which is dark when purchased,

Will lighten with washing,

Completely changing its look.

And this is probably the most inquired about item

at both WEST and Ebisu stores, isn't it?

・Split back adopted for the back

 

・Cinch back

 

 

These are some of the details incorporated into

this leather jacket.

 

The leather has a moderate weight and is dyed black with surface dyeing,

making it what is known as "tea-core" leather.

As you wear it repeatedly, the light brown base will show through,

changing its appearance, so

you can enjoy that aspect of the leather as well.

The old 41Khaki was discontinued

with the final shipment in May 2023.

 

In order to release new chino pants to replace them,

We cut and analyzed vintage 41Khaki, which is now expensive,

and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep south cotton,

we have reproduced natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes,

this 41Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.

 

The 41Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes,

is finished to preserve the original atmosphere and fabric feel.

 

The ultimate chino pants, with attention to every detail:

raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing...

That is JELADO's

When it arrived last time, it sold out

at an incredible pace, and there are many customers

The base fabric was developed to reproduce the thick yet soft fabric of the 1950s and earlier.

We thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel shirts, and just like Lee workwear,

we sent them to a testing facility for detailed analysis of:

 

• Fiber length

• Twist coefficient

• Yarn count

• Number of threads per inch

 

Based on this, we developed a completely new flannel from scratch.

 

This product uses sulfur dyes.

While there is less demand for sulfur dyeing in recent years,

the "aging" effect from wear and

the fluffy "texture" and "feel against the skin,"

which is like being wrapped in a towel, are exceptionally good and highly recommended.

 

This product receives many inquiries from customers concerned about sizing,

so we would appreciate it if you could consult with us in-store rather than by phone

(as we may not be able to accommodate inquiries by phone due to store visits, etc.).

"Last Resort" means a trump card or one's last resort.

If the white tag is the first lineup,

then the "blue tag" series is the fourth lineup, following the black and brown tags.

 

While the white and black tags focus on LEVI'S,

and the brown tag focuses on 41Khaki...

what about the blue tag?

 

The blue tag is a collection centered around workwear,

and when it comes to representative workwear,

"Lee" is undeniably essential.

 

LAST RESORT "Blue Tag" focuses on

light ounce denim workwear.

 

Since it's 10.5 oz denim,

unlike the white and black tags, the lower ounce blue tag will undoubtedly show

a different kind of aging.

 

In that sense,

this is a very exciting series.
