As the 41Khaki stencil ages with repeated wear and washing,

the stencil, which is dark when purchased,

fades with washing,

and the appearance changes completely.

The old 41Khaki was discontinued

with its final delivery in May 2023.

 

To release a new chino pant in its place,

we cut up and analyzed highly valued vintage 41Khaki pants

and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep south cotton,

we've recreated a natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes,

this new 41Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.

 

Utilizing US cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes,

The 41 Khaki is finished to preserve the original atmosphere and fabric feel.

 

The ultimate chino pants, meticulously crafted in every detail from raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing...

"Last Resort" means a trump card or a secret weapon,

and if the white tag is the first line of defense,

the "blue tag" series is the fourth line, following the black tag and brown tag.

 

White and black tags focus on LEVI'S,

brown tags focus on 41 Khaki...

So what about blue tags??

 

The blue tag is a collection centered around workwear,

and when it comes to representative workwear,

"Lee" is indispensable.

 

The LAST RESORT "blue tag" focuses on

light ounce denim workwear.

 

Since it's 10.5 oz denim,

unlike the white and black tags, the lower ounce blue tag will definitely show a different kind of aging.

 

In that sense,

it's a very exciting series.

The base is the same as the "LASTRESORT 41Khaki" which is currently available for pre-order, but the fabric is different.

 

100% cotton twisted twill fabric.

The warp uses sulfur-dyed twisted yarn, and the weft uses

sulfur-dyed black yarn, resulting in a thick and firm fabric.

 

Since it's 100% cotton, it will age beautifully as you wear it,

so we hope you enjoy how its appearance changes over time.

 

Since this will be produced only once a year, we believe there are customers who have been "waiting for this!"

Age of Longing 407EXX, which had a small amount of free stock arrive in December, but sold out in an instant.

 

As many of you know,

LAST RESORT "black tag" is the second installment in the Last Resort series,

following the original "white tag" that was released earlier.

 

Compared to the white tag, the black tag denim has a stronger black tone rather than a blue tone.

 

JELADO categorizes it into early and late 1947 models.

The white tag is positioned as the late 1947 model with a strong blue denim fabric, and the 501XX from this era is called:

 

"The masterpiece of 501XX history."

 

If you want to know why it's called that, please come to JELADO WEST (lol).

 

The white tag is a denim fabric that focuses on 1950s XX fabric.

 

So what about the "black tag" with a strong black tone?

 

World War II ended in 1945,

and during the war, each Levi's factory was producing the beloved "war model."

 

After the war ended, material controls were lifted,

but it took a considerable amount of time for the details to return to their original form.

 

The reason is that a lot of denim fabric and secondary materials used for the war model remained.

 

LEVI'S denim fabrics also had No.1 denim to No.3 denim.

(I only know up to No.3, but if No.4 or others exist, please let me know.) This refers to the quality of the denim fabric.

 

No. 2 is a cheaper version of No. 1 denim, and No. 3 is a cheaper version of No. 2 denim.

Although it is divided this way, wasn't the denim fabric used for the war model No. 2 or No. 3 denim?

 

After this denim fabric was used up,

it transitioned to what JELADO calls the "white tag."

The black tag denim is from the transitional period between the end of the war and the change in denim fabric.

 

It is 15 oz, and since it uses heavily slubbed yarn,

repeated wear and aging will produce a vertical fade that looks like rain.

 

The best part of denim is, without a doubt,

"fading."

Fading, which is essential for "wearing" denim, will be completely different for each person,

so I believe this enjoyment is the greatest charm of denim.

 

This time, production has increased by 400 units, so for customers who couldn't buy it during the last arrival in December, and for those who are considering purchasing it now, I believe this is an opportunity to get your hands on it.
