JELADO 44Leather Jacket (44 Leather Jacket) Horse hide Semi-aniline Finish [JP94409]

We have a new item in stock: a leather jacket made from horsehide, based on a 2 denim jacket that focuses on World War II.

The material used this time is a newly developed horsehide that is approximately 1.6 mm thick and has been combination tanned (chrome x tannin).
After tanning with chrome, the solvent is washed away and the leather is tanned again with tannin, bringing out the best in the tannin and giving the leather a moderate weightiness and a more comfortable feel when worn.
The base is dyed light brown and then black is applied using a hill dye at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo.
This time, to produce a stronger black, we finished it with semi-aniline, a mixture of half pigment and half dye.
The dyes that infuse the base with colour and the pigments that form the coating on top match perfectly, resulting in a beautiful aging effect as the garment is worn.
The leather is softer than 100% pigment, and because it is coated with a thin coating, the color of the base will quickly show through once you wear it.
The buttons are blue rust-finished laurel buttons.
The design reproduces the T-back detail on the back, which was only available for sizes 46 and above at the time.
For the larger sizes, due to the width (area) of the fabric, the design at the time was made by splitting the fabric into two pieces and sewing them together in the middle, but we have recreated this detail that is now known as a "T-back" and is popular among vintage enthusiasts.
It also has a buckle back.
The silhouette is slightly longer than the vintage 1st and is a little more streamlined.
This is a piece that allows you to experience the simple design of the 1st type and the quality of the soft, easy-to-wear horse leather.
This is a versatile leather jacket that can be worn regardless of age, coordination, or style, so it is highly recommended.

Size 50 has also been newly introduced as part of a request from Manager Kumazaki.

The "PRESSMAN SHIRTS" are now available in a gorgeous indigo check fabric.
This shirt is based on a Boy Scout shirt from the 50s, and is a work shirt from the good old days with attention to detail. The choice of materials brings out its unique charm. The warp threads are made with indigo dye, and the weft threads feature a checkered pattern made with reactive dyes. The indigo warp threads change over time the more you wear them, adding a touch of individual style. Also, by using looms from a denim-producing region, a thick and firm texture is achieved.

JELADO's classic "SMOKERS SHIRTS" has been newly tailored using green twisted heathered chambray.
The design of this item is based on the 1930s "BIG YANK" snap pocket shirt, and the small pocket on the front reproduces the bag stitching unique to vintage items, bringing out an even more vintage atmosphere.
Triple stitching is used on the shoulders and arms to increase durability, and double stitching is used on the pockets to recreate the style of the time.
The buttons are hexagonal, as used on old work shirts, and the shirt has a gusset with selvedge. This design was chosen to retain the atmosphere of the original "BIG YANK," which had both a gusset with selvedge and a gusset with a hollow stitch.
In addition, when using cotton thread for sewing, the thread is designed to become clogged when washed and dried in a dryer, resulting in creases around the shoulders and arms.
The size is moderately slim around the arms, and the design allows you to wear it neatly. It is a work shirt that has a strong presence, but also has a sturdy construction and a fashionable design that is perfectly combined.
