JELADO 44Leather Jacket Horse hide Semi-aniline Finish【JP94409】

We have restocked our leather jacket, which is a reproduction of a 1944 denim jacket from World War II, made using horsehide.

This time, we used newly developed horsehide, approximately 1.6mm thick, and performed a combination (chrome x tannin) tanning process.
After chrome tanning, the solvents are washed away and the leather is re-tanned with tannin to bring out the best qualities of tannin, resulting in a leather with a good weight and a rich texture that will develop beautifully with wear.
The base leather is dyed light brown, then a black top coat is applied by hand-dyeing at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo, creating a tea-core leather.
This time, to achieve a stronger black color, it is finished with semi-aniline, a mixture of pigment and dye in equal parts.
The dye, which colors the base, and the pigment, which forms a film on top, match perfectly, creating a beautiful aging effect with wear.
It offers a softness not found in 100% pigment finishes, and because only a thin film is applied, the base color will quickly show through with wear.
The buttons are laurel wreath buttons with blue rust processing.
The design reproduces the "T-back" detail on the back, which was originally only found on sizes 46 and larger.
This was a design from back then where larger sizes required two pieces of fabric sewn in the middle due to fabric width (area) constraints, but it is now known as "T-back" and is a detail favored by vintage enthusiasts.
Furthermore, it features a buckle back.
The silhouette is slightly longer in length and slightly slimmer than vintage 1st types.
This is a piece that allows you to feel the goodness of the simple design of the 1st type and the soft, easy-to-wear horse leather.
This is a versatile leather jacket that can be worn regardless of age, coordination, or style, so we highly recommend it.

The "PRESSMAN SHIRTS" have made a vibrant appearance in indigo check fabric.
This shirt is based on a 1950s Boy Scout shirt, delivering a work shirt from a bygone era with meticulous attention to detail. Pay attention to the material selection that brings out its unique charm. The warp threads use indigo-dyed yarn, and the weft threads feature a check pattern created with reactive dyes. The indigo warp threads, which develop a unique patina with wear, add character to each individual's style. Furthermore, by using looms from denim-producing regions, a thick and sturdy texture is achieved.

The buttons are also carefully selected, with metal buttons used to further tighten the overall look. This shirt pairs perfectly with classic items such as denim, chinos, and baker pants. While simple, it has a vintage feel and can be used as an accent in any styling. This is truly a charming item unique to the "PRESSMAN SHIRTS."

JELADO's classic "SMOKERS SHIRTS" have been newly tailored using green twisted chambray.
The design of this item is based on the "BIG YANK" gusset pocket shirt from the 1930s, and the small pocket on the front also reproduces vintage details such as the bag stitching, bringing out a more vintage feel.
For sewing, triple stitching is used on the shoulders and arms to enhance durability. Furthermore, double stitching is used on the pockets and other areas to reproduce the style of the time, recreating the atmosphere of that era.
Hexagonal buttons, which were used on old work shirts, are used, and it features a selvedge gusset. This design was chosen to retain the atmosphere, as "BIG YANK" originals had both selvedge gussets and bag-stitched gussets.
In addition, the sewing using cotton thread is designed so that the thread shrinks when washed and tumble-dried, creating a puckered effect around the shoulders and arms.
The fit is moderately slim around the arms, making it a sleek design. This work shirt exquisitely combines a strong presence with a solid construction and a highly fashionable design. It is a satisfying piece for those who want to enjoy work shirts in style or those who seek authenticity.
