〜41Covert Vintage Finish〜
Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.
Today, the highly anticipated item arrived,
so I'd like to introduce it.
41 Covert Faded Fade Salt&Pepper【AG71319】
Previously arrived
『41Covert / Onewash』
41 Covert Salt&Pepper【AG71334】
The 41Covert is made of mixed twill, with sulfur-dyed twisted yarn for the warp and sulfur-dyed black yarn for the weft.
The processed version of this is the Vintage Finish, which arrived today.
Produced only once a year,
many customers visit our store annually, specifically seeking this item.
It is an item that doesn't stay on our shelves for long.
It's thick and has a masculine, rugged silhouette that looks cool,
making it a rare item even within the 41 series.
Please come to our store to try it on and purchase it.
~Information on Pre-order Items~
I will introduce the pre-order items that have just started.
【Pre-order Item, Arriving June】JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Semi Aniline Finish Black【SG71428】
The Rebel Jacket
is a long-standing standard rider's jacket at JELADO.
To make it a simple rider's jacket,
the epaulets have been removed.
Furthermore, instead of quilting,
cupro is used to make it easy to put on and take off,
a piece designed for comfort.
With 1.6mm thick leather and a semi-aniline finish,
it offers a softness not found in 100% pigmented leather, and being 'tea core leather',
you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.
There's one more pre-order item.
This is also a very popular item,
and when it was released previously, it sold out quickly,
with sizes disappearing in an instant.
【Pre-order Item, Arriving June】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】
These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric, adopted in 1947.
※ What is herringbone?
"Herringbone" =
"herring" (fish) and "bone"
The name comes from the pattern resembling the bones of an opened herring fish.
Baker pants were worn in combat, but also during indoor work.
They are also said to be called "Baker Pants" because bakers used to wear them.
Made from herringbone twill fabric,
they are thick and durable.
Also, being 100% cotton, you can enjoy their aging process with repeated wear.
We have been taking reservations for this item for a while now, and it was a popular item at the 2025SS preview.
【Pre-order Item, Arriving Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
USMC M44 Monkey Pants were issued to the Marine Corps, and are a popular item in the vintage industry, affectionately known as "Monkey Pants." The origin of this name is as follows...
They feature large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were designed to hold ponchos,
and the flaps were added to prevent items from falling out.
These pockets are said to resemble the buttocks of a monkey,
hence the name "Monkey Pants."
The M44 was produced for a very short period, only "one year and three months,"
from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Also, since they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,
the overall production volume was low, making them quite expensive in the vintage market.
The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them include:
・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 - March 26, 1945)
・Battle of Okinawa (March 26 - September 7, 1945)
And after World War II:
・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953)
It seems they were frequently worn during these times.
Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone as the material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.
The buttons are donut buttons, which also enhance the vintage feel.
By wearing them regularly, you can enjoy their aging process.
It pairs well with native-patterned half-length coats,
leather jackets, and even
coveralls, and is also very compatible with chambray shirts, which I recommend.
I also recommend pairing it with a chambray shirt.
Please make your reservations online or in-store.
Thank you.
Popular items are now available for pre-order.
We look forward to your reservations.
Thank you.

as our 5-pocket denim
is our classic 41 Khaki.
In fact, based on the 41 Khaki,
we've also released a blue-tag light ounce denim
and a twisted heather twill fabric.
This time, Sales Manager Mori explains the 41 series.
