JELADO 410XX Denim Jacket Natural【JP94410VN】

From our BASIC COLLECTION, we are releasing the new 410XX.
We have created a 1st type jacket using natural-colored Last Resort cotton, which is un-dyed.
Based on the 1st type produced in the 1940s, the sewing thread count and specifications are also matched to that era.
Like vintage items, it features many details such as iron buttons, a single-sided tab, and a buckle-back, and also reproduces the offset between the buttons and the height of the box pleats, a characteristic of the 1st type from 1947.
The irregular home base shape of the front pocket also enhances the vintage feel by faithfully following the shape found in vintage pieces.
The dimensions are similar to the 406XX (2nd type), but since the waistband of the 1st type is narrower than the 2nd type, the length is slightly shorter, expressing the authentic 1st type feel.

Introducing the Westcoast shirt from the JELADO BASIC COLLECTION.
This time, we have made our consistently popular open-collar shirt from indigo sashiko fabric.
The ground fabric uses 20/- count yarn for both warp and weft, and by using 10/2 count yarn for the striped sashiko part of the warp, we have created a fabric with a textured feel.
The dyeing and printing are consistently done at a factory in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, where indigo dyeing is followed by rotary (roll screen type) discharge printing with pigments to create a 50s-style geometric print.
Pigment discharge printing involves discharging the indigo dye while simultaneously applying beige pigment.
This allows for the reproduction of beautiful colors without being affected by the base color.
As you wear it, the color will fade, and you can enjoy the aging process.
