~ Reservation Information ~
We would like to introduce the following items, which are now available for reservation.
【Pre-order item, scheduled for June arrival】JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Semi Aniline Finish Black【SG71428】
The Rebel Jacket
is a long-standing staple rider's jacket at JELADO.
To make it a simple rider's jacket,
we removed the epaulets.
Furthermore, instead of quilting,
we used cupra to make it easy to put on and take off,
a piece designed for maximum wearability.
Made from 1.6mm thick leather with a semi-aniline finish,
it offers a softness not found in 100% pigmented leather, and because it's "tea core leather,"
you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.
We have one more item available for pre-order.
This is another very popular item,
which sold out quickly last time,
with sizes disappearing in an instant.
【Pre-order item, scheduled for June arrival】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】
These are Baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric,
which was adopted in 1947.
※ What is herringbone?
"Herringbone" =
"herring" and "bone"
The name comes from the pattern resembling the bones of an opened herring.
Baker pants were worn in battlefields,
but also during administrative work.
It is also said that the name "Baker pants" comes from the fact that bakers wore them.
Because they are made of herringbone twill fabric,
they are thick and durable.
In addition, since they are 100% cotton, you can enjoy their aging process through repeated wear.
We have been taking reservations for this item for some time now,
and it was a popular item at the 2025SS preview.
【Pre-order item, scheduled for early March arrival】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
USMC M44 Monkey Pants are pants issued to the Marines, and are a popular item in the vintage industry known by their nickname "Monkey Pants." The origin of that name is as follows:
Large, horizontally long cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were adopted to hold a "poncho,"
and the flaps were adopted to prevent the contents from falling out.
These pockets resemble a monkey's backside, which is why they are called "Monkey Pants."
The production period for the M44 was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"
from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Furthermore, because they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,
the overall production volume was low, so they are traded at quite high prices in the vintage market.
The period during which the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them was...
・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 - Mar. 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 - Sep. 7, 1945).
Also, after World War II,
・Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 - Jul. 27, 1953)
They seem to have been worn extensively during these times.
JELADO's Monkey Pants use herringbone as the material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dye.
The buttons are donut buttons, which also creates a vintage feel.
You can enjoy the aging process by wearing them diligently.
They pair well with native pattern half-length coats,
leather jackets, and even
coveralls.
I also recommend pairing them with chambray shirts.
Please reserve at the store or online.
Thank you.
Reservations for popular items have begun.
We look forward to your reservations.
Thank you.
