〜24/7 Leather Jacket〜
Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.
Today, I'd like to introduce this product.
One of JELADO's "Big 3 Leather Jackets"...
JELADO 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket【AG72417】
It uses 1.6mm thick horsehide and has a semi-aniline finish,
combining the profound feel unique to pigment
and the softness unique to dye.
I think the smooth lining made of cupra is also a key feature,
making it easy to wear.
This leather jacket, known as a "sports jacket,"
has action pleats on the back,
allowing for easy movement even when you stretch your shoulders forward.
Details that vintage lovers appreciate can also be seen,
such as the patterned buckles on the sides,
and the eyelet zipper on the front.
It's a very comfortable leather jacket,
so please come and try it on in store.
〜Information on Pre-order Items〜
Here's a look at the items now available for pre-order.
【Pre-order Item, Arriving June】JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Semi Aniline Finish Black【SG71428】
The Rebel Jacket is
a rider's jacket that has been a staple in JELADO's lineup for many years.
To make it a simple rider's jacket,
the epaulets have been removed.
Furthermore, instead of quilting,
cupra is used to make it easy to put on and take off,
creating a piece that prioritizes comfort.
With 1.6mm thick leather and a semi-aniline finish,
it has a softness that 100% pigment cannot achieve, and since it is "tea core leather,"
you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.
There's one more item available for pre-order.
This is also a very popular item,
and when it was released previously, it sold out very quickly,
with sizes becoming unavailable in an instant.
【Pre-order Item, Arriving June】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】
These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric
adopted in 1947.
※ What is Herringbone?
"Herringbone" =
"herring (fish)" and "bone"
The name comes from its pattern resembling the bones of an opened herring.
Baker pants were worn on the battlefield,
but also during indoor work.
It is also said that they were called "baker pants" because bakers wore them.
Since they are made of herringbone twill fabric,
they are thick and durable.
Furthermore, since they are 100% cotton, you can enjoy their aging process with repeated wear.
And this item has been available for pre-order for a while now,
it was a popular item at the 2025SS preview.
【Pre-order Item, Arriving Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
USMC M44 Monkey Pants were issued to the Marine Corps,
and are a popular item in the vintage industry,
nicknamed "Monkey Pants."
The origin of that name is this...
Large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were adopted to hold a "poncho,"
and the flaps were added to prevent contents from falling out.
These pockets resemble the buttocks of a monkey, hence the name "Monkey Pants."
The production period of the M44 was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"
from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Also, because they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,
the overall production volume was small, making them quite expensive in the vintage market.
The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them were...
・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 - Mar. 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 - Sep. 7, 1945).
Also, after World War II,
・Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 - Jul. 27, 1953)
It seems they were worn extensively during these times.
JELADO's Monkey Pants use herringbone as the material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.
And the buttons are donut buttons,
which also creates a vintage feel.
You can enjoy the aging process by wearing them thoroughly.
They pair very well with native patterned half-length coats,
leather jackets, and even
coveralls.
I also recommend pairing them with chambray shirts.
Please pre-order online or in-store.
Thank you very much.
Pre-orders for popular items have begun.
We look forward to your pre-orders.
Thank you very much.
