Today's blog will introduce this leather jacket.
JELADO 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket【AG72417】
Just like a 24/7 convenience store,
we want you to wear this jacket every day...
With that in mind,
this jacket was named
"24/7 Leather Jacket."
It is based on the shape of a sports jacket
released by a minor brand around 1930.
It is made from 1.6mm thick horsehide
that has undergone combination tanning.
After chrome tanning, the solvent is washed off
and then vegetable tanning is performed.
This brings out the best qualities of tannin,
creating a robust feel and enhancing the character
as it is worn. The base is dyed light brown,
and then black is hand-dyed onto it
at the finishing factory.
To achieve a rich black, we use a semi-aniline finish
that mixes equal parts pigment and dye. This provides
a softness not found in 100% pigment finishes.
As it is worn repeatedly, it will age beautifully,
and the light brown base will begin to show through,
allowing you to enjoy the evolving character
of this leather jacket.

for which we are currently accepting reservations, the fabric is different.
This is a 100% cotton twisted yarn twill fabric.
We use sulfur-dyed twisted yarn for the warp and
sulfur-dyed black yarn for the weft to create a thick and crisp fabric.
Since it's 100% cotton, with wear,
it will develop a rich aged appearance over time,
so please enjoy how its look changes.
This is produced once a year, so there might be customers
who have been eagerly awaiting it!
