Steelbeam Coat restocked!! ~Flagship store~
Share
Thank you for visiting us again today.
We've received some highly popular items from the SS preview event, so let's introduce them right away...!
This coverall uses a left-hand twill fabric woven with three different thicknesses of warp threads, and both warp and weft threads are dyed with rope dyeing. Furthermore, the WABASH stripe, sampled from vintage items we own, is reproduced with discharge printing, creating a fabric with an authentic vintage feel. The stripe pitch and dot size faithfully reproduce vintage details, resulting in a unique material like no other.
The back surface is pigment printed to certify it as an original fabric, creating a rich texture.
Iron original change buttons are used for the buttons.
With a watch pocket and large patch pockets characteristic of SWEETORR, this item is packed with highlights and is irresistible for vintage fans.
While I was writing this blog, we've received many orders on our Online Store.
Don't miss out!

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜
【Pre-order item, scheduled to arrive early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
Speaking of USMC M44 Monkey Pants,
these pants were issued to the Marine Corps,
and are popular items in the vintage industry
under the nickname "Monkey Pants."
The origin of their name is...
The long, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were adopted to hold ponchos,
and the flaps were added to prevent the contents from falling out.
These pockets resemble the buttocks of a monkey, which is why they are called "Monkey Pants."
The manufacturing period for the M44 was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months," from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Also, since they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,
the overall production volume was low, which is why they are traded at quite high prices in the vintage market.
The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them include:
・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb 19, 1945 – Mar 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar 26, 1945 – Sep 7, 1945)
Also, after World War II,
・Korean War (Jun 25, 1950 – Jul 27, 1953)
It seems they were worn extensively during these times.
Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.
And the buttons are donut buttons, which also creates a vintage feel.
By wearing them consistently, you can enjoy their aging process.
Native pattern half-length coats and
Leather jackets... furthermore,
They pair very well with coveralls, and
We also recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.
Please make your reservations in-store or online.
Thank you very much.
