JELADO Skull Snake Souvenir Jacket 【JP13409】

 

 

 

This season's featured item, a Sukajan (souvenir jacket), has arrived.

Among JELADO's collection of super rare Sukajan, we have faithfully reproduced the skull pattern, which is considered particularly rare, exactly as it was designed back then.

The original skull motif Sukajan was sold as a "ready-made souvenir" at the time, but it was less popular than standard motifs like dragons, eagles, and tigers, and the production numbers were overwhelmingly small, making existing pieces extremely rare.

Even in the vintage market, it is a special design considered the "King of Sukajan."

It was produced with various body materials such as velvet and satin, and a characteristic is that even with the same skull pattern, many pieces are one-of-a-kind with subtle differences in facial expressions and coloring.

This time, we have faithfully reproduced a piece owned by JELADO while adding originality to the finish.

Side A uses 100% cotton velvet fabric with skull and snake motifs embroidered.

Side B features rayon satin with an eagle embroidery.

Thick scrap cotton is used for the padding, recreating the unique comfort of vintage pieces.

Furthermore, the quilting on Side B is hand-quilted to maximize the atmosphere of the era.

This is the ultimate Sukajan, crafted using vintage techniques from the body design to the embroidery and coloring.
