The 2Monkeys Designer Suzuki

Former Red Wing Japan representative Masaya Suzuki has delved into the world of classic work boots, and with his added sensibilities, he is involved in the production of boots with a period feel that has never been seen before.

The 2 Monkeys is particularly interested in the period just before workwear and boots began to develop independently in America, when Europe and America, sharing the same roots, began to diverge while influencing each other. For boots, it would be the early 20th century or earlier, and for clothing, it would be the late 19th century or earlier.

This was the early period when the manufacturing of clothing was moving towards full-scale mass production, and also the period before that when shoes and clothing were mainly made by hand in small workshops.

The 2 Monkeys products and JELADO items go together perfectly.

Both of them will be present on the day. This is a chance to hear directly from them about their thoughts and product descriptions, so please feel free to come along to the preview. We also hope you will be able to experience the appeal of the product for yourself.

This is my first exhibition, so the new JELADO items have been well received among the staff.
