Today's product introduction is a big one.

JELADO Souvenir Jacket Black【JP83403】

Presenting a Sukajan that recreates a special vintage piece

owned by our representative, Goto.

 

On the front, there is an eagle embroidery on both chest areas.

 

On the back, the AIR FORCE mark is in the center,

with "OKINAWA" and the years "1952-1953"

above and below, creating a powerful impact.

 

It features a "butterfly zipper," which is popular for Sukajan jackets.

 

This velveteen piece, which recreates a one-of-a-kind custom order

from a soldier in the Air Force, uses domestic fabric that is firm and lustrous.

 

Here's the style when worn on the A-side.

 

 

 

 

And here is the B-side...

It uses rayon satin to recreate vintage Sukajan jackets,

allowing you to enjoy the texture of the original pieces.

There are dragon embroideries on both chest areas.

After adding quilt embroidery to the rayon fabric,

the quilting is done by hand. This piece involves a lot of intricate work.

 

On the back, there's a Chinese lion embroidery...

You often see tigers, eagles, and dragons on Sukajan jackets, but the Chinese lion pattern is rare in vintage pieces.

Honestly, both sides have great patterns,

making either suitable as the A-side.

 

This Sukajan has quite an impact.

I think the pattern selection is very characteristic of our representative, Goto.

 

 

 

 

 

For the batting, various recycled cotton fibers are used,

not only contributing to eco-friendliness but also enhancing the vintage feel.

To recreate the thick yet soft fabric of the base from before the 1950s,

we thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel shirts.

Similar to Lee workwear, we sent them to a testing institution and

 

・Staple length

・Twist coefficient

・Yarn count

・Number of threads per inch

 

were meticulously analyzed, and we developed new flannel from scratch.

 

This product uses

sulfur dyes.

While there is little demand for sulfur dyeing in recent years,

the "aging effect" from wearing it and

the fluffy "fabric texture" and "feel against the skin,"

as if wrapped in a towel,

are outstanding and highly recommended.

 

This product receives a very high number of inquiries from customers concerned about sizing,
