The leather used is fully vegetable tanned horsehide.
Although not as much as nubuck leather, the grain surface has been sanded down to create a leather with a great deal of variation.
It contains plenty of oil, so it has a moist texture and is not stiff like full vegetable tanned leather, making it extremely comfortable to wear.
The zipper is a grommet zipper.
It is a 30's style specification.
The back also has a unique type of pleats, split down the sides and in the middle.
