Today I'd like to introduce this item.

 

JELADO Age of Longing 406EXX Size42(XL)~44(XXL) [JP82406EXX] - 18th Anniversary Item

Limited stock available at both JELADO stores.

 

It looks great with denim or chinos.

It also pairs perfectly with military pants.

I can't get enough of it.

 

The 18th anniversary item, 406EXX,

is based on the 507XX (commonly known as the 2nd model),

which was only manufactured for one year in 1952.

 

This model, manufactured in parallel with the previous 506XX (1st model),

has different details from the 507XX produced from '53 onwards.

 

 

・Single-sided tab

・Box-stitched yellow stitching

・Leather patch

 

The 507XX with these details is known as the "single-sided, leather patch" model.

 

What's amazing about the 406EXX, which focuses on this model,

is that it uses sulfur-dyed threads.

 

By repeatedly wearing it, even if the denim fades, the stitching does not fade as much,

which can create an odd appearance. To address this, the threads are sulfur-dyed.

The 18th anniversary item 406EXX was produced with such attention to detail...

 

 

 

 

Since it's only available in sizes L, XL, and XXL, both sides are seamed.

For vintage items, the price varies considerably depending on whether this detail is present or not.

 

Instead of the cinch-back seen on the 506XX,

the 507XX uses adjuster buttons.

Of course, we've kept that same specification.
