The asymmetrical pockets are a distinctive feature.

These are called "gacha pockets," and the workwear brand "BIG YANK," which has a long history, was a pioneer of these pockets.

 

The smaller of the two pockets is a "cigarette pocket" designed to hold cigarettes.

 

I'm impressed by how well people thought back then, as they used "bag stitching" to prevent cigarettes from getting damp.

 

Triple stitching is used for the shoulders, arms, and from the armpits to the hem.

This provides reinforcement, and when washed, the fabric tightens, making it easier for fading to occur.

 

The hem has a selvedge gusset, and the buttons are rust-processed, giving it an excellent aesthetic.

 

When the body ages and fades, the look it takes on is incredibly cool.

 

Because this shirt has a striped pattern, it can make you look slender.

That's why pairing it with 41 Khaki creates a sharp contrast, making it an excellent match for wide pants.
