 Ellis produces shirts inspired by those worn by European immigrants to America in the 19th century, based on antique stand-collar workwear.

 

The fabric is piece-dyed, with a dot pattern discharged by discharge printing, and then a beige pigment print is applied on top, resulting in a pigment discharge fabric.

 

The fabric dyeing and discharge printing are consistently processed at a factory in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and the shrinkage rate is stable due to the Sanforize treatment (shrinkage-proof processing).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The front has a wide round hem like a work shirt, but it also has a dressy feel,

making it a versatile piece that can be styled both tucked in and worn out.
