JELADO Ciggy Shirt (AG81118)

 

 

 

 

The base vintage is from the 1930s and 40s.

A shirt from a work brand called BIGYANK.

We disassembled it and thoroughly reproduced the characteristics of the fabric.

Twisted heathered chambray shirt.

 

The color of this fabric was not what I was aiming for, but was created by chance.

It's a very nice cinnamon color.

This has now been released.

 

The other day I introduced the WEST exclusive Ciggy Shirt on my BLOG.

I explained the finer details there.

We will introduce it again because the fabric is different.

 

 

 

 

(Collar)

It has the double stitching that you can also see on old shirts.

As the era progresses, the details here become more and more single-

It will change.

 

 

 

(Neck part)

This is the detail called Chocochin.

It is a half-zip type with a U-shaped end.

Half-zip items from this era and earlier are also popular.

There is a zipper from the neck to roughly the chest area.

*This time it is a shirt, but it can also be used as a jacket or sweatshirt.

The same can be said.

 

 

 

(Pocket part)

Gacha Poke is a familiar game from BIGYANK, the game on which the game is based.

The left breast pocket is called a cigarette pocket...

By sewing it like this, it can be made to float.

The structure is designed to prevent tobacco from getting damp.

This is also a detail reproduced in the same way as the Vintage version.

 

 

 

 

 

(Shoulders, arms, armpits to sleeves, armpits to hem)

This part is triple stitched.

The main purpose is to reinforce the stitching, but it will last for many years of wear.

When the fabric is washed, the mesh becomes clogged, creating the appearance of creases.

 

This chambray is sulfur dyed.

You can enjoy the changes that occur over time.

 

And finally, here's the detail.

 

 

(Sleeve part)

This is a detail unique to BIGYANK.

This cuff part is called "storm cuffs."

They are also called YANK cuffs, but this detail

The cuffs are detailed without the sword-like detail seen in the 1930s.

It is characterized by its ability to keep out wind and roll up easily.
