The 2 Monkeys Voyager Coat 【TM73436】
The setting for the 2022AW collection
is the 17th-18th century...
It's about the time when the vast inland area of North America
was French territory.
The design is inspired by the clothing that would have been worn by
the men who crossed the ocean from France
and traveled through inland America with the Native Americans.
This Voyager Coat is one such item,
a piece designed with meticulous detail,
based on military uniforms that enhance functionality
while adhering to the styles of the time.
The sleeves are also designed to conform to the wearer's
body curves, with articulated elbows
and pleats/gussets at the hem.
This item is available in two colors:
the navy stripe I'm wearing and
olive khaki.
The material is French pique.
The olive khaki uses a thick pique fabric...
The navy stripe uses a
slightly thicker, more flexible pique fabric.
