As you may have guessed from the name, Cobain is named after
Kurt Cobain of the legendary rock band Nirvana.
JELADO's Cobain mohair cardigan
is knitted with a double jacquard technique
and then brushed, resulting in a soft texture and comfortable feel.
※Jacquard knit
Jacquard refers to knitting patterns that combine float stitching
with rib stitch using two or more colors of yarn.
Today, with the existence of jacquard knitting machines,
a wide variety of knitting patterns can be created.
Double jacquard creates a thicker fabric,
and as seen in the second image of this blog, it also creates a clear uneven texture.
