This item is based on a coverall from ※①HERCULES, a workwear brand from the 1950s.
※① What is HERCULES?
It is one of America's three major store brands.
It was a private brand of Sears, Roebuck and Company (1893-2018), existing from 1908-1965.
It was likely a brand that emerged during the company's growth period.
Vintage HERCULES items are very popular, including coveralls and overalls,
as well as car coats, leather jackets, and shop coats.
Similar to the original Vintage,
the collar is made of corduroy,
and the lining features a striped blanket.
The original details have been faithfully reproduced,
and by using new materials, construction, and resizing (lengthening the hem),
the coat has been finished to be a stylish item that can be worn easily.
The outer fabric of the Protection Coat is
