jointly by 7 shoe manufacturers in Nara.

 

KOTOKA was born from that project.

Made with 100% vegetable tannins,

this is a traditional method of tanning

to produce natural leather.

 

Depending on the finishing process after tanning,

it can achieve various colors, textures, and suppleness.

The single-piece derby introduced here

is made from leather that has been thoroughly kneaded

and infused with oil to make it soft.

and as it is worn, it ages and develops new expressions,

which is its appealing characteristic.

 

With a gently embracing fit, an effortless lightness,

and a no-lining specification,

it easily molds to the wearer's foot.
