Gold, which can maintain almost all of its insulation performance even when wet, is used in many mountaineering wear and sleeping bags.
PrimaLoft, an innovative ultrafine microfiber material that replaces down, is as light and warm as down, offers flexibility, and also has water repellency that down does not.
In mountaineering, down rapidly loses its insulation when wet because it can no longer maintain dead air. However, PrimaLoft's ultrafine microfiber material does not lose its insulation even when wet, so we used high-spec insulation that is widely used in actual mountaineering equipment.
